RYAN GOLDMAN
Ryan has over 30 years of energy and utility industry experience spanning PG&E’s SmartMeter™ AMI program, to Wholesale / Retail Deregulation, Generation, Transmission and Distribution Engineering, business, regulatory reporting and IT program management initiatives.
Most recently Ryan successfully delivered a large scale CIS / Data warehouse system for the largest California utility that increased data flow such as SmartMeter™ interval billing.
Ryan also has extensive experience developing strategic operational plans for regulated utilities and deregulated energy service providers including developing business and system requirements needed to participate competitively in multiple states while keeping back office costs down.
Prior to co-founding Global Power Consulting, Ryan spent 15 years with Pacific Gas & Electric managing capital projects, such as Gas Pipeline Replacement programs and retrofitting Steam and Hydro Power Plants, 10 years as an energy consultant for various strategic consulting firms, and five years as Director of Sempra Energy Solutions.
Ryan holds a BS in Industrial Engineering from San Jose State University and Technical Certifications from University California at Berkeley.
LEE HARYANTO
Lee has over 15 years of energy and utility industry experience in the areas of SmartMeter™ AMI, Wholesale Natural Gas Operations, and Retail Deregulation. Lee’s wide-ranging experience includes the following functional areas: Business Process Engineering, Program and Project Management, IT Strategy, and full life cycle IT Development and Operations. Lee excels in translating business requirements into process and technology solutions, managing complex large-scale projects, and delivering the promised business benefits of mission-critical IT projects.
Most recently, Lee has developed a comprehensive strategic plan for PG&E’s urban-area SmartMeter™ AMI deployment in Northern California with an AMI deployment footprint of about 10 million electric and gas meters. In this capacity, Lee has worked in and supported various aspects of SmartMeter™ AMI deployment, including Field Deployment, PMO, Engineering Solutions, Strategic Deployment, Customer Communications, Customer Operations, as well as IT Operations.
Prior to starting Global Power Consulting, Inc., Lee has spent 15 years working at several energy consulting firms delivering capital projects for utility companies such as delivering a large-scale capital IT project for a wholesale gas operation and marketing business as well as consulting on transmission planning, nomination and scheduling, accounting, billing, deal capture, contract management, and service management.
Lee has a BS in Electrical Engineering and an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University. He also holds a PMP certification from Project Management Institute (PMI).
